Global Hunger is a huge problem that needs to be eliminated.  Because I am passionate about this problem, I decided to make it my graduation project.  I am hosting a "hunger walk" on April 23, 2009.  The walk starts at 11:00 am and will run until about 6:00 pm at the Koka Booth Amphitheater at Regency Park.  Walkers/runners can come at anytime throughout the day to walk/run around the 1/2 mile loop lake at Regency.  Tables will be set up to meet our sponsors and to learn facts about world hunger and ways to stop it.  Additional information concerning our sponsors can be seen on the "Sponsors" page.  Please see the How to get involved page for donation and participation instructions.

This summer, a group from my church will be going on a foreign mission trip to Bolivia with the organization Curamericas; I am a member of that group.  The money raised  will go directly to our trip and will be used in Bolivia for hunger projects.  We will be making home visits, where we will go into homes to teach mothers about nutrition and how to better feed their families.
